Praia da Gorda is a paradisiacal landscape and ideal for hiking and ecological tours! But be prepared, as the place does not have any gastronomic infrastructure. To access it, start at Vila dos Pescadores in Praça Quilombola and continue along the beach. Or if you prefer, you can start at Ponta do Pai Vitório, in the opposite direction.

This stretch has significant mangrove and sandbank vegetation. The dark color of its waters reveals a large presence of sediments (organic and mineral) transported and deposited by the Una and São João rivers.

Location: Between Vila dos Pescadores (end of Rio Una beach) and Ponta do Pai Vitório (Arpoador da Rasa hill), Praia da Gorda is about 3 km long and is home to an important ecosystem known as Mangue de Pedra.
